How To Install Wordpress?

Installing wordpress has got to be one of the easiest thing to do. Provided that your hosting account has fantastico enabled.

Before I begin, some of us may not know what is wordpress. Well, it’s very simple, Wordpress is simply a software that helps you to blog. My website is currently running on this software.

Installation is really a breeze for those who have Fantastico in their cpanel account.
cPanel is simply a control panel for one’s domain hosting. You usually access cPanel by doing a domain.com/cpanel
Upon reaching your cpanel, look for the blue smiley button.

After you click on the smiley, look for the “Wordpress” on the left hand menu. Upon which, you would be directed to the wordpress installation main menu.

Upon reaching the installation page, it will be very easy.
Just fill in your particulars and voila! It’s done.

There are only a few areas of concern.
1. Install InDirectory
Leave blank if you want people to access your blog via www.domain.com.
2. Admin Access data.
Very much like the cPanel, you access the wordpress admin panel via www.domain.com/wp-admin if you are installing on the main domain.
This username and password, whichever you choose, would be used to access the wordpress admin

The other information would be the settings to your blog, not that important, but great to have as relevant information as possible.
