Hey Kelvin,

Backlinking is a technical jargon.
what it simply means is other websites linking back to you.

There is a hyperlink(links) on someone's website, where if a visitor clicks on it, they would go to your website. that's it.

In summary, when people link [back] to you. It's called backlinking. :)

hope this clarifies a little bit. :)

regards,
Ming Chern

Hey man,

Usually, you'll get rejected by majority of the people anyways.

How I know? Cos I reject alot myself also mah... hehe...

So the idea is to send out to a lot of people. If you ask 100 people, and 1 link gets approved, it should be good.

In any case, concentrate on building quality content and increasing the value of your website.

Alternately, social networking sites also drive traffic. :) Google Page Rank is now a pretty poor indication of authority for anything below PR5.

So now I don't bother, seriously...
