Applying NLP to Internet Marketing
After Patterns of Excellence, my life has turned around 180degrees.
I now live with a clearer direction and knows that to do in Internet Marketing.
Of all the different things that was taught during the 8 days, what I loved most was the Milton Model, the power of language. 
I’m sure you sure words are power on the Internet, as it’s the main stream of communication via the internet.
Even voice or video still needs to be communicated via speaking, aka words…
What is milton model? In layman’s terms, The Milton Model lists the key parts of speech and key patterns that are useful in directing another person’s line of thinking by being “artfully vague”, and in principle the model states that larger chunks (more general use of language) can lead to more rapport, while smaller chunks, (more specific language) is more limiting and has a greater chance of excluding concepts from a person’s experience. After POE, I’ve began implementing milton model inside my words so as to be able to influence people better. One of my favourite at this time is called ‘Mind Read’. It’s starting sentences with ‘you know’. for example: “I’m sure you know that to buy SEOelite from me is your best choice.”
In my opinion, this is a very good way of influencing people, but of cos there are so many other ways of doing it. There are so many models inside the Milton Model that we can use to be a better communicator?
Some of you may be asking me on why should an Internet Marketer use the Milton Model? Well, the answer is really simple. If you can learn to better influence people to opt-in, buy or promote whichever your products.
Does anybody know what top notch copywriters are paid? easily mid 5 digits per month dude! For those average to good copywriters, couple thousands per copy? So all you need to do is to get good at copywriting, and just write TWO sales copy per month and you can already sack your boss!
Naturally, writing is a skill that needs to be trained well, but hey, don’t get discouraged okay? Just perserve on!
