As I was chatting with one of my readers on the topic of SEO,
the person we should be looking out for / learning from popped out.
Who is Kelvin Hui?

Kelvin is a person who
1: Runs Ambatch
2: Launches the World SEO Competition
3: Launched FriendEarth.com and shot to Alexa sub 500 in TWO months
4: Signed contract with YAHOO Inc (PERSONALLY) because of this.
I feel that knowing who your competitors / mentors are, is very very important.
Though I don’t have alot of results to show for, but I definately am proud to be associated with some of the best in the field and constantly learning from them.
Alot of SEO experts, in this case GOD OF SEO, runs their ownsites effectively. Otherwise, how can they market their services?
Well, in this case, Kelvin don’t sell his services anymore, though he helps friends to learn about SEO.
In Internet Money Secrets 2006, Me and a few friends hijacked Kelvin at the Amara Hotel and spent the entire morning learning about SEO and talking about his latest adventure. What amused me is that, no matter what Kelvin does, it’s always a game.
A game of how many traffic he can send to your site. How much from adsense you can get.
There is once a legend. Kelvin was chatting with one of his friends online, and he suddenly said: “Let’s play a game, I’ll send martians to your website and let you earn US$700″
Guess wat, at the end of the day, his friend’s earnings was about $705+-…
Can you imagine that? Having the abilities to control how many traffic, how much adsense you can make from it?
In case you have doubts, Kelvin is the person who founded FriendEarth.com that hit Alexa ranking of sub-500 and signed a multi-million contract with Yahoo personally!!!
So ladies and gentlemen, the objective of this post is not for me to fawn upon my idol or to promote any affiliate products,
it is a constant reminder to ourselves to stay humble, as there are always better people out there.
The moment we think we are number one, we would be overtaken in an instant.
