Why MyBlogLog Is A Good Source Of Traffic

Monday, May 28th, 2007

Wow, I didn’t realise that I haven’t been blogging for waaay too long!
Sorry guys! I’ve been really busy with Internet Marketing Academy!

Please kick me in the butt if you guys don’t see me contributing as much! :P

In anycase, I’m talking about MyBlogLog today.

If you can see those pictures of people on the right hand menu, you may realise this strategy.
Pay someone else to visit alot of websites, so that your picture shows up on their mybloglog account…
hehehee, or you can take 15 minutes of your time to go mybloglog surfing. :)

But make sure you have a nice photo to entice lar! Lucky I so handsome! hohohohohoh…
Hope this helps! :)

Confusion Is The First Step Towards Excellence

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

Last week was the start of my Internet Marketing Training. We kick off with a small class that was pretty good.
For the past few Jumpstart To Online Profits workshop, i’ve seen quite a few people.

Even though, during the last weekend, I saw two people that I find very interesting and morale demolising.
In summary, both of them needed Patterns Of Excellence (POE) before they do anything in their life.

One older gentlemen spent the first day bitching and whining about how life sucks and why people fail in life/business.
Although I did some milton model on him, but I guess my milton powers wasn’t that powerful and he still didn’t achieve anything out of it.
During the start of the 2nd day, he talked to Stuart for at least 30 minutes to say he wanted to withdraw out of the course.
Well, I understand that he failed in his one business, though what we need to do is to pick ourselves up and continue forward.

Why Cpanel redirects are good for affiliate marketing

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

Okay, since I’m ranked number one for Internet Marketing Technical Coach,

I’ll be starting a few series of help posts to guide you along in the technical areas of Internet Marketing.
While I may be faltering in the business strategies as compared to Stuart, but I’m definately stronger in terms of the technical areas.

Coming back to topic proper, I’ll sharing on how to you cloak your affiliate ID with the Cpanel redirects.
When I first began Internet Marketing, I used to use tiny url, but people are not comfortable with links they don’t understand, and tinyurl.com got more and more famous as being used for affiliate marketing, thus, people started to shun tiny url links.

Of course, there are many more URL cloacking methods, but I’ll just use Cpanel redirects today, if you’ll refer to the screenshot below:

url_redirect.PNG

Therefore, next time, I just need to ask my leads to go to www.risingimstar.com/se and they’ll be re-redirected to my affiliate link for SEOelite.

Isn’t that cool? Hope this helps a little bit.

Cheers,
Ming Chern

Why Toastmasters works for me

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

I remember 2 years ago, when I started my quest for financial freedom. I literally paid thousands and thousands of money to attend alot of seminars/workshops/course. I literally attend all genre of money-making schemes…

Business building, investments in stocks/options/etc.

It was a very intensive time for me. With the limited amount of money and time that I had, i bit my lip and perserved on.
Now, two years have past and I chanced upon Internet Marketing last year. Ever since, I vowed to stay focused.

I passed on the stocks investment portfolio to my wife and I concentrated on this quest.
I’ve invest alot of time during the first 5 months, i literally spent 5 hours on weekdays and 16 hours on weekends without fail on Internet Marketing. Investing loads of all my extra cash and time on this. This is how I build up my foundation, based on sheer hardwork.

Coming to toastmasters, why does this works for me? It’s because I’m now a trainer for AKLTG. So speaking is a skill I need to be a master at.
Yesterday, 14th May 2007, I tested a new strategy and it worked wonders for me. :) Battling with 4 other speakers, I came up the best speaker, and I have an award to prove it!

Today, I have my technical training for IMA, so it’s really a morale booster! :)
Yup, coming to perspective, I urged all of you to focus on skills that compliment what you are currently doing.
Whatever it is, if you are a public speaker, go for toastmasters,
If you are a marketer, go for copywriting courses, etc…

It’ll definately help in the long run! :)

Ming Chern
