Working in an advertising firm has its ups and downs that we can learn from the valuable mistakes made.
After being caught up in projects frenzy for the past few days,
in which I think I still am.
I was caught up doing electronic direct mailers (EDMs) for a client. And i made some repititive mistakes coupled with clients’ frequent change request. The concoction of the two spells disasters.
This means there is no more Quality Control.
In summary, it was a nightmare and no lunch + late nights getting a few simple things up.
No thanks for the fact that it is my first time doing it and got disoriented with the working procedure.
Relating this scenario back to internet marketing. Too many a times we are caught up in attempting to achieve the impossible. Too much by rushing out to accomplish the mundane tasks without having a solid blue plan. But why do we do this? Because of the lure of the money? The excitement of getting something done?
By failing to plan, we plan to fail. Without building foundations in whatever we do, not just in IM, we are on a road to disaster. This is part of the reasons why I took 2 months to read up, digest and have a blueprint for IM success.
