Some time ago, I talked about pampering your list.
I’m sure everyone already agrees that we really need to take care of our list. Cos as long as we treat and talk to our list as though they are our close friends. The list will be able to feel it and gain more trust and credibility.
So how do we do that? By investing in a credible auto-responder. By investing some time and money in a solid software that automates your mailing process. We can now concentrate on things that matters. Marketing.
If we use our local mailbox to mail to our list of, i.e. 1000. Mail Servers would immediately mark our IP as spam and voila, our next batch of mails would be fed-ex directly to the Trash!
Heard a lot of good stories about Get Response. The CEO has done a lot of work, shaking hands with hotmail, google mail, this mail, that mail, to ensure that GR’s IP will not be marked as SPAM. In all things that we do.
We need to have a dream, a vision.
It is this dream and vision that would uplift us through the bad and the times that just seems impossible. Even though this blog is internet marketing related, but i’m touching base with something more personal and more on our fundamental beliefs.
Attending Stuart’s Seminar preview yesterday, he started off with dreams that we want achieved. A luxury yacht? A private jet? A 10 acre land in Singapore with a lush garden and a huge mansion smacked in the centre?
We need to dream big, big enough to uplift us when we are down. Uplift and give us hope when the times are bad and out.
So what do we do next? Type out your dreams into a Word Document, make the fonts extremely HUGE and paste it on the wall where you’ll pass by 10 times a day! Research has shown that those who constantly remind themselves of their dreams have a much higher chance of success in their life.

Pushing all software and hardware and mentors aside, the number one thing all internet marketers need to do is…. Build your list!
Corey Rudl used to say, “If you take everything away from me, As I as I have my list, I’ll be able to rebuild all that I have in xxx period of time”. Sorry, I forgot the timeframe, but you get the picture… :p
There’s thousand and one products out there, promising you to be able to generate $10 million in 10 days or that type of shit. Or the software that’s supposed to automate all things for you to make you earn that million dollars.
But the thing is… If you have no list, there’s no one to sell you. Of the 100 people who visited your site, prob 10 will buy from you. Then what happens to the rest of the 90? Just let them walk away?
What if you have an opt-in list that tempts the 90 people to sign up, maybe not 90, maybe 30 out of the 90 opts-in for your free materials. So now wat? Now you have a total of 40 people that can potentially buy from you in the future! That’s 400% increase rite? think about it!

In Internet Marketing, there’s 10000001 things an Internet Marketer can do to make huge amounts of money over the internet.
 But one person will never master ALL the techniques available. It’s much more viable to just master one skill.
Whether it’s blogging for adsense or blogging for affiliate programs or joint venture for product creation.
The sky is the limit.
Thus, we should concentrate on something that we are good in.
For example, if i’m good at talking crap, i most prob would choose blogging? either adsense or affiliate, doesn’t matter.
Or I can strategise well? So i’ll be the brain of a joint venture.
Or perharps I super-techie, so I would take over the operations of the website?
It’s all about finding what you are good at and focus on that.
Others, find someone to work with.
